Article 1 (Purpose)

This Privacy Policy aims to specify how the DanceChallenge software and online services (hereinafter referred to as the “Software”) collect, use, and protect users’ personal information, ensuring the protection of user rights and the secure management of personal data.

Article 2 (Principles of Personal Information Collection)

The Software does not collect users’ personal information except when participating in Event Dance. It does not collect personal information in Artist Dance or My Dance modes.
When personal information is inevitably required for the use of the Software, the purpose shall be clearly stated, and prior consent shall be obtained.
The collection of personal information is limited strictly to the scope necessary for event operation and participation.

Article 3 (Items of Personal Information Collected and Purpose of Use)

The following table shows the categories, collected data, purposes of use, and retention periods.

Note: The “DanceChallenge Software” analyzes users’ camera video in real time on the user’s PC without recording or storing it. The analysis results (scores) are immediately deleted. However, if the user chooses to save their dance video, an MP4 dance video is generated and stored locally.

Article 4 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)

Collected personal information will be destroyed immediately after achieving the stated purpose.
Data related to event participation will be automatically deleted within 7 days after the event ends.
Event Organizer account information will be deleted immediately upon account termination or discontinuation of the Software.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Software does not provide users’ personal information to external parties without consent.
Exceptions are made only in the following cases:
– When the user has given prior consent.
– When required by law or requested by a government authority.
Recipients, provided items, purposes, and retention periods will be disclosed separately at the time of consent.

Article 6 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

KpopAgnet Co., LTD. may outsource certain operations to external contractors to improve service efficiency.
When outsourcing, contracts are established in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea, ensuring safe management and supervision.
The list of outsourcing companies and details of entrusted tasks are disclosed on the official website (dancechallenge.ai).

Article 7 (User Rights and Exercise Methods)

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information at any time.
Requests can be made by email or through customer support, and actions will be taken within 7 days upon confirmation.
For Event Organizers, all registered information is deleted immediately upon account termination.

Article 8 (Procedures and Methods for Destruction of Personal Information)

Personal information will be destroyed immediately after achieving the purpose of collection.
Electronic files are deleted using technical methods that make recovery impossible.
Printed documents are destroyed through shredding or incineration.

Article 9 (Technical and Administrative Safeguards for Personal Information)

KpopAgnet Co., LTD. takes the following protective measures to prevent loss, theft, leakage, alteration, or damage of personal information:

Encrypted communication (SSL/TLS) for secure data transmission.
Implementation of access control and authentication procedures.
Operation of server access logs and anomaly monitoring systems.
Regular security inspections and vulnerability assessments.

Article 11 (Amendments to the Policy)
